Lauren Ruth Martin
Creator of The Nine to Kind Possibility Planner

Topic: Rethinking Productivity

Lauren Ruth Martin is a therapist, speaker, and the founder of Nine to Kind. She knows firsthand how burnout and perfectionism can take over a life—having spent years stuck in the hustle cycle, chasing achievements that ultimately left her depleted, until she reached her breaking point.

As a licensed mental health therapist at Novel Counseling, Lauren specializes in supporting overthinkers and overachievers in finding balance, managing anxiety, and moving beyond burnout. She integrates evidence-based approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Brainspotting to guide her clients toward meaningful change.

Recognizing that many productivity tools only reinforce perfectionism, Lauren created Nine to Kind—a planner and movement designed to help people shift from “doing it all” to living with intention and self-compassion.

On stage, she shares practical strategies to challenge hustle culture and embrace sustainable self-care. Whether in the therapy room or at events, Lauren is committed to helping others reclaim their time, energy, and peace of mind.
